The Bible

Job 28 : 7, 8, 10 (his), 11 (and), 23

7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
8 The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
10 …his eye seeth every precious thing.
11 …and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.
23 God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.

Psalm 130 : 1

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

Psalm 31 : 3

3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Psalm 119 : 104, 105

104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 77 : 13, 14

13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Isaiah 43 : 1 (to 1st ,) 2, 3 (to 1st ,), 5 (to : )

1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee,
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the Lord thy God,
5 Fear not: for I am with thee:

Isaiah 42 : 16

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Isaiah 49 : 11, 16, 18 (to : )

11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
18  Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold:

Exodus 13 : 17, 18, 21, 22

17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Exodus 14 : 5, 8 (to : ), 10, 13, 19-23, 26-29, 31 (to did)

5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
8 And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel:
10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to-day: for the
Egyptians whom ye have seen to-day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
19  And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of
Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
23  And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
26 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
31 And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did…..

Luke 1 : 37, 49 (holy)

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
49 ….. holy is his name.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

587 : 5-8

God. The great I am; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal; Principle; Mind; Soul; Spirit; Life; Truth; Love; all substance; intelligence.

135 : 20

What cannot God do?

Miscellaneous Writings

117 : 27-29, 31-32

God is the fountain of light, and He illumines one’s way when one is obedient.

Be sure that God directs your way; then, hasten to follow under every circumstance.

134 : 14-16

He who dwelleth in eternal light is bigger than the shadow, and will guard and guide His own.

328 : 3 (and)-5, 23-26

“… and if thou strayest, listen for the mountain-horn, and it will call thee back to the path that goeth upward.”

Whatever obstructs the way, — causing to stumble, fall, or faint, those mortals who are striving to enter the path, — divine Love will remove; and uplift the fallen and strengthen the weak.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

494 : 10-11, 13 (to)-14

Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need. …… to all mankind and in every hour, divine Love supplies all good.

566 : 1-11

As the children of Israel were guided triumphantly through the Red Sea, the dark ebbing and flowing tides of human fear, — as they were led through the wilderness, walking wearily through the great desert of human hopes, and anticipating the promised joy, — so shall the spiritual idea guide all right desires in their passage from sense to Soul, from a material sense of existence to the spiritual, up to the glory prepared for them who love God. Stately Science pauses not, but moves before them, a pillar of cloud by day and of fire by night, leading to divine heights.

Miscellaneous Writings

81 : 25-3

In the desolation of human understanding, divine Love hears and answers the human call for help; and the voice of Truth utters the divine verities of being which deliver mortals out of the depths of ignorance and vice. This is the Father’s benediction. It gives lessons to human life, guides the understanding, peoples the mind with spiritual ideas, reconstructs the Judean religion, and reveals God and man as the Principle and idea of all good.

113 : 14-21

He who refuses to be influenced by any but the divine Mind, commits his way to God, and rises superior to suggestions from an evil source. Christian Science shows that there is a way of escape from the latter-day ultimatum of evil, through scientific truth; so that all are without excuse.

152 : 23 (you)-2 (to 2nd ,)

… you, safely sheltered in the strong tower of hope, faith, and Love, are God’s nestlings; and He will hide you in His feathers till the storm has passed. Into His haven of Soul there enters no element of earth to cast out angels, to silence the right intuition which guides you safely home.

Exercise more faith in God and His spiritual means and methods, than in man and his material ways and means,

153 : 6-12

When God went forth before His people, they were fed with manna: they marched through the wilderness: they passed through the Red Sea, untouched by the billows. At His command, the rock became a fountain; and the land of promise, green isles of refreshment. In the words of the Psalmist, when “the Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”

157 : 5-6, 15 (and)-17, 22-25, 26-28

He that marketh the sparrow’s fall will direct thy way.

… and He helps us most when help is most needed, for He is the ever-present help.

“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.” This I know, for God is for us.

Error has no power but to destroy itself. It cannot harm you; it cannot stop the eternal currents of Truth.

Miscellany

290 : 13-18

Trust in Him whose love enfolds thee. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” “Out of the depths have I cried unto Thee.” Divine Love is never so near as when all earthly joys seem most afar.

149 : 31-4

Remember, thou canst be brought into no condition, be it ever so severe, where Love has not been before thee and where its tender lesson is not awaiting thee. Therefore despair not nor murmur, for that which seeketh to save, to heal, and to deliver, will guide thee, if thou seekest this guidance.

193 : 19

God guard and guide you.
